I would like to regretfully inform you that I have decided to resign from my position as [job title name] from [company name] effective [last working date]. This was a difficult decision to make given that I had only pleasant memories throughout my working period.

Resignation Letter
Dear [Manager],
It is with mix feelings I write to you this letter: feelings of pride and satisfaction and feelings of sorrow and sadness.
I had the pleasure of working with you and your wonderful team for the past [some number] years and even though we had our ups and downs I am and will always be grateful for the opportunity of being part of this wonderful organization. Regretfully I will not be able to do so anymore.
I have a continuous feeling of energy drainage and I don’t mean just physically but mentally as well. A shift in priorities has stricken and the order in my life has dramatically changed. I am nowhere near the person that was full of driving force and endless motivation. I don’t seem to be able to pinpoint the reasons leading to my current condition but what I do know is that a radical change in my career is deeply needed.
My greatest fear is that in this current and indefinite state of body and mind I won't be able to give what is expected from me and that I will never accept. I prefer to gracefully withdraw and hand over the torch to someone else.
I am confident that you will understand and appreciate the reasons leading to my decision and I kindly ask you to approve my resignation.
